A new live Digimon concert is coming to Tokyo this December, and it is not your average anniversary show. The DIGIMON CONCERT ~2026 Anniversary & BEATBREAK~ packs five anime milestones onto one stage, with a key visual of 38 characters in formal attire, each holding an instrument like a portrait of an orchestra about to strike up.
The show runs December 28 and 29, 2026, at Tokyo International Forum Hall C, with three performances across the two days: an evening show on the 28th, then matinee and evening shows on the 29th.
What the concert celebrates
2026 is a heavy year for Digimon anniversaries, and Toei is marking them all at once:
- Digimon Tamers turns 25
- Digimon Data Squad (Savers) turns 20
- Digimon Universe: App Monsters turns 10
- Digimon Ghost Game reaches five years since its debut
- DIGIMON BEATBREAK celebrates its first anniversary on the stage too, having premiered on October 5, 2025
Act one leans on the four older shows, opening with a run of their theme songs and the music tied to each story. Act two hands over to BEATBREAK, whose score is supervised by Arisa Okehazama, the composer behind the series itself — a nice touch that keeps the finale live faithful to what fans just watched.
Two familiar voices
The guest singers are franchise veterans. Ayumi Miyazaki and Takayoshi Tanimoto join the stage; Tanimoto previously performed "One Vision" for Digimon Tamers and has lent his voice to other anime and tokusatsu work over the years. For Tamers' 25th, that callback is almost too neat.
Tickets and goods
Tickets are all-reserved seating in two tiers:
- 13,500 yen (tax included) with the event pamphlet
- 19,500 yen (tax included) with the pamphlet plus a commemorative medal-style pin set featuring Agumon, Guilmon, Gatchmon, Gammamon, and Gekkomon
The playguide lottery pre-sale opened October 21 and closes October 27, 2026 — so if you want in, the window is open right now. General first-come sales begin November 7.
This is the latest entry in a busy anniversary run. Earlier this year fans voted their favorite episodes across the classic series as part of "Digimon: The Best Adventure We Chose," and a new anime is due in 2027. A concert that stitches five generations into one setlist is a fitting way to bridge the gap between the past and whatever comes next.
If any single event sums up 2026's Digimon season, this is it: five series, one hall, and the franchise's future warming up in the wings. Tickets lottery aside, keep an eye on the official Digimon site for the final lineup and any surprises before the curtain rises in December. BEATBREAK just wrapped a little over three weeks ago with a 49-episode run that started in October 2025, so its music still feels current rather than nostalgic. Pairing the fresh series with the older shows on one bill is a deliberate move: it lets long-time fans bask in their era while newcomers get a live sense of how the franchise grew.
