Bandai has now fully revealed its new limited-edition color virtual pets, released to mark the end of the TV anime DIGIMON BEATBREAK. We first covered a partial look in August, when only the graffiti-style "Glowing Dawn" shell was shown. Now both designs are confirmed, with pre-orders open and full details in hand. Here is everything we know.
Two shells, one roster
The lineup consists of two V-Pet designs, both announced in full on Sept 27, 2026:
- GLOWING DOWN COLOR brings together the partner Digimon of the show's Glowing Dawn team: Gekkomon, Pristimon, Chiropmon, and Murasamemon.
- DIGIVOLUTION GEKKOMON COLOR focuses on Gekkomon's evolution line, including the forms Armalizamon, Monarchlizamon, and Atratusmon. Atratusmon appeared in the series' closing stages.
The two shells share the same internal program and the same roster of roughly 30 Digimon, so the difference is purely cosmetic.
Why this release matters
DIGIMON BEATBREAK ended with its 49th episode on September 27, 2026, and these devices mark that milestone. It is a fitting send-off for fans who followed the series to its close.
Hardware and features
The screen is a full-color LCD, so sprites display much richer than on the original black-and-white V-Pets. A built-in rechargeable battery charges over USB, and the shell designs are UV-printed.
Two features make these especially friendly to collectors and long-term owners:
- Backup-save system protects your save data.
- Cold mode pauses growth so your Digimon stays put when you step away.
Communication battles work between the two BEATBREAK editions and with previously released Digital Monster COLOR and Digimon Pendulum COLOR devices, so your collection stays compatible.
Companion case
The Digimon Case Iremon COLOR is a storage accessory that lets you play and charge the device while it is inside, and it opens for two-device link battles. It comes in LOUD PURPLE and LOUD PINK.

- Devices: 7,700 yen each (about $49 US).
- Case: 1,980 yen (about $13).
- Pre-orders open on Premium Bandai Japan from Sept 27 until October 25, 2026.
- Shipping is expected around March 2027.
